About Me

Hi! 

 I'm Alison - a wife, stay at home mum and a self confessed patchwork and quilting junkie.

 I've been addicted to this craft since I first discovered it in 2004 and have tried almost every technique and style of quilting since then.

 My (current) favourite things to do are English Paper Piecing, Hand Appliqué and Hand Quilting.

 I'm also a Twitch Creative Broadcaster.  I love sharing the skills, knowledge and techniques that I have acquired over the years via Live Streaming and hope that through my streams and this blog, I can pass them on to you too.

001. What is a Twitch Creative Broadcaster?

If you take a look at my About Me page, you'll see that amongst being a wife, stay at home mum and obsessive quilter, I'm also proud to say that I am a Twitch Creative Broadcaster in the Makers and Crafting community. A screenshot from one of my streams What on Earth is a Twitch Creative Broadcaster, you might say?   Sounds kinda fancy doesn't it? Let's take a look at it in a bit more detail shall we? WTF is Twitch? When I talk about Twitch and Twitching, I'm not referring to the past time of Bird-watching, nor am I referring to the involuntary eye or body movements you experience when someone refers to your quilted creation as a blanket!  Instead, I am talking about live streaming using the Twitch.tv live streaming platform.
